Torana’s have a very strong association with the muscle car industry in Australia, because they played a huge part in our racing heritage. They were the only car to beat a phase 3 early on. And the GTR was such a power house, because of its power to weight ratio. So for a muscle car it was actually small, it flogged the traditional stereo type of cubic inch horse power.
