Torana’s have a very strong association with the muscle car industry in Australia, because they played a huge part in our racing heritage. They were the only car to beat a phase 3 early on. And the GTR was such a power house, because of its power to weight ratio. So for a muscle car it was actually small, it flogged the traditional stereo type of cubic inch horse power. It said you know what, ‘I don’t have cubic inch, but I’m light as F@$k! And I rev hard, yeah … that’s why I love the torrie, that’s why I love the GTR’s
